Does AC Stop Leak / Sealant really work for my leaking evaporator coil or condenser coils?

AC Stop Leak is a sealant. Once you add the liquid to your AC system, it runs through the lines and fills in very small cracks or holes in the tubing that it comes across to seal the leak.

It's good to add the sealant at 50 psig. If the pressure is higher than 50 psig, then recovery of the refrigerant is required to bring the pressure down to 50 psig.
  •  AC Stop Leak will fix a very small refrigerant leak present in your home ac system.
  • AC Stop Leak will not work on multiple large leaks in your home air conditioning system.
  • AC Stop Leak will not work if your home air conditioning system is over 10 years of age and or in poor condition.
  • AC Stop Leak will not work if your home does not have continued yearly preventative maintenance on 10+ year old units.
  • AC Stop Leak will not work on a restricted evaporator coil.
  • AC Stop Leak will not work on a restricted liquid line drier.
  • AC Stop Leak will not work on a restricted TXV or expansion valve.
  • AC Stop Leak will not work on a failed compressor.
Neighbors A/C & Heating recommends allowing the system to run for 15 minutes before capping off the system with refrigerant after AC Stop Leak is applied to the system.

If you have any questions, feel free to call Neighbors A/C & Heating if your a/c system is leaking Freon or refrigerant.
